In order to graduate from Lindsay High School one must complete a senior project, and part of this project entails future graduates to go out to the work field and job shadow someone I'm a career that interests you. I chose to job shadow Alma Morales who is a CDT (Culture Development Team) at Jefferson elementary on 9/1/16. I choose to job shadow her because I have been interested in technology and computers for a very long time.
When I arrived at Jefferson elementary I was greeted by the office secretary who told me where I could find Alma. When I went inside the building she was located in I immediately noticed a pile of Chromebooks stacked on a table, I asked her if those were under repair. She told me that those devices were indeed needing of repair but that she would have to take them to their main office located behind Washington Elementary.I offered to help her take them there but she told me she had to help some teachers with some technical problems, we went around and helped multiple teachers with various technical problems ranging from helping them connect to the internet to help them set up speakers. I really enjoyed this because the teachers are so thankful when you help them and appreciate it when you teach them how to fix their problems on their own. We then headed over to their main office where I helped her unload the broken Chromebooks.
In conclusion I am still interested in pursuing a job in this field because I realized how much I enjoy helping people with problems I know how to fix.
